Police search for Elks Club burglar

No one has come forward over the weekend to identify someone who broke into the Oregon City Elks building and made off with cash.

On Thursday, Sept. 6, around 3:30 a.m., an unknown white male subject forced entry into the service club address at 610 McLoughlin Blvd., in Oregon City, causing substantial damage to the door and door frame to get into an interior office.

Police have provided photos of the burglary suspect. Of average build and height (5-foot-8-to-10), he appears to have unshaven brownish red hair.

Lt. Bill Kler said police cannot disclose the amount of cash taken have and no additional information regarding this case.
