Tualatin bank robbed for second time in six months

Surveillance photos show man in fedora robbing MBank near Lake Oswego


by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Security cameras caught a photo of a man in a fedora who allegedly robbed the MBank branch on McEwan Avenue near Lake Oswego.Tualatin police officers have released photos of a man they say robbed the MBank in Tualatin, near Lake Oswego, Friday afternoon.

Police responded to the bank, located at 17898 S.W. McEwan Ave., at about 3 p.m. on Friday.

Officers learned a Caucasian man between 55 and 60 years old walked into the bank and demanded cash.

Witnesses described the suspect as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, wearing a dark button-up shirt, blue jeans, black sunglasses and a brown “Indiana Jones-style” hat.by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - The man was described as between 5-feet 6-inches and 5-feet 8-inches tall, wearing a dark colored button-up shirt, blue jeans, black sunglasses and a brown 'Indiana Jones-style' hat.

The man also carried a black briefcase.

The man ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This is the second robbery at the bank this year. In May, a man with a bandage over his nose robbed the bank.

A K-9 team from the Beaverton Police Department responded to both of the robberies, but neither suspect was located following searches of the area.
