Road paving begins Monday

Road crews are paving several local roads as part of a two-week project beginning Monday, Sept. 17. Paving takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Motorists should expect delays of up to 30 minutes or use alternate routes during the $500,000 project.

One lane at a time will be closed on the two-lane roads, with flaggers directing two-way traffic in the open lane. There also could be brief delays accessing driveways during paving.
