9/18/12 7:59 a.m. Sometime during the night a burglar snuck into a garage and stole a bicycle.

9/11/12 8:36 a.m. Speed bumps are not slowing down traffic very much on Lakeview Boulevard.

9/11/12 12:16 p.m. A utility trailer loaded with garden equipment barely missed hitting a woman as she walked near Westridge Elementary School. The vehicle had to run up on a curb to avoid an accident.

9/12/12 11:15 a.m. A Jeep with four reckless juveniles nearly ran down some guy as he crossed the crosswalk on Douglas Circle and Twin Fir Road.

9/17/12 9:58 a.m. A dishonest driver left a phony name after departing from an accident that caused $100 damage to a trailer hitch cover.

9/17/12 3:41 p.m. In a case of gross vehicular rudeness on Boones Ferry Road, a truck driver switched recklessly through lanes, cut through the post office parking lot to avoid the lights, then turned around and stuck out his tongue at the person observing this sorry display of driving with shock.

9/11/12 12:23 p.m. A thief has been using a man’s Social Security number to file his income taxes for the past two years.

9/12/12 12:43 p.m. A thief broke into a car at a hotel on Kruse Oaks Drive and stole a roll of quarters and some power cords. Total loss was set at $400.

9/12/12 2:50 p.m. An overnight theft from a car on Parkview Drive resulted in the taking of a book bag, wallet with credit cards, driver’s license and miscellaneous identification.

9/13/12 9:32 p.m. A thief smashed in a window of a car parked at a restaurant on Kruse Oaks Drive, causing $500 in damage.

9/14/12 7:31 a.m. A digital camera with a RH construction sticker and barcode was taken from an unlocked car on Laurel Street.

9/14/12 8:31 a.m. A backpack, iPod and wireless speakers were swiped from a car after the thief smashed in the passenger front window.

9/15/12 8:12 p.m. An electronic table was stolen off a TriMet bus at Eighth Street and A Avenue.

9/15/12 10:04 p.m. A Trek bicycle with Shimano pedals and specialized speed zone protection, worth $2,234, was stolen from a residence on Avery Lane.

9/16/12 6:56 a.m. An ID, credit card and cash were stolen from a woman while she shopped at a convenience store on Boones Ferry Road.

9/10/12 11:16 a.m. An elderly woman wearing a purple bathrobe seemed confused as she wandered on Boones Ferry Road, but her husband later found her.

9/10/12 7:07 p.m. Four juveniles went out of control at a youth facility, becoming disruptive and destroying property. One was lodged at Clackamas County Juvenile Reception Center. Two of the teens were listed as runaways.

9/12/12 8:14 a.m. A religious zealot who resembled a hobo has been standing at the entrance to Lake Oswego Junior High School, yelling at the top of his lungs and carrying a sandwich board sign about people being sinners who were going to hell.

9/12/12 9:47 a.m. An unfortunate son has been removing items from his parents’ home and throwing them in the Dumpster.

9/17/12 9:05 a.m. An estranged husband came home on Jefferson Parkway, then threatened and pushed his wife away from a phone. He departed prior to the arrival of a police officer and is now wanted for burglary, harassment and interference with making a report.
