Reynolds overcomes a two-touchdown deficit to beat Clackamas 28-19

GRESHAM 34, WESTVIEW 14 — The Gophers secured a 20-0 lead before the host Wildcats got onto the scoreboard late in the third quarter. Micah Tolai accounted for all of the first-half scoring by hauling in a 36-yard touchdown pass from Devon Shields.

The Gophers started to break away in the second half, sparked by Devauntae Hoffman’s 73-yard touchdown run.

Gresham (4-0) remains the only unbeaten team out of the Mount Hood Conference, heading into the league season next Friday at home against Centennial. The school will celebrate the 30-year anniversary of its state championship by honoring its 1982 team during that game.

REYNOLDS 28, CLACKAMAS 19 — The Raiders overcame a 14-point first-half deficit, pulling ahead early in the fourth quarter when Devante Warren scored on a 38-yard touchdown pass from Josh Schleining.

The Raiders clinched the victory when Quentin Bates caught a 10-yard scoring strike later in the fourth. Schleining finished the game with four TDs.

C. CATHOLIC 16, JESUIT 7 — The Rams shutout Jesuit after giving up first-quarter touchdown. Central pulled ahead before halftime on a 43-yard field goal by Mitch Seeley, and sealed the victory on a 2-yard run by Cameron Scarlett in the fourth quarter.
