Sit Still Kids Salon and Angel Hair Foundation partnered to host “A Day to Live Beautifully” on Sept. 27 in West Linn.

The afternoon pampered young people facing medical challenges and treatment that often result in hair loss.

Eight current Angel Hair Foundation kids gathered with family and friends to undergo a day of pampering, fun and lighthearted celebration. Sit Still donated its salon, staff and several products treating kids to one-on-one hair styling sessions and painted fingernails a rainbow of colors.

Miss Oregon 2012 Nichole Mead also stopped by to deliver a special message to each of the girls about confidence, strength and family. Mead also handed out family packs and backstage passes for each of the girls to attend the opening night of Disney on Ice’s newest show, “Dare to Dream” at the Rose Garden in Portland.
