MEN'S BASKETBALL: Oregon tries for a second win over the Wildcats at Arizona tonight, then plays Saturday at Arizona State. Oregon State, coming off Monday's 78-55 win over Lehigh, is at ASU tonight and Arizona on Sunday. Portland State hosts Loyola Marymount at 7:05 p.m. Saturday. Portland hosts Montana State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Lewis & Clark takes on visiting Whitworth and Whitman on Friday and Saturday, both at 8 p.m. Concordia is home at 7:30 tonight against Evergreen State and plays at Northwest College on Saturday. Warner Pacific plays back-to-back road games, Friday vs. Eastern Oregon and Saturday vs. Albertson. Cascade is at Eastern Oregon on Friday and Albertson on Saturday. É On Wednesday, PSU ran its record to 5-7 with an 81-65 win over visiting Concordia, and UP slipped to 4-9 with an 83-79 overtime loss at Idaho State. Guard Aaron Fitzgerald of PSU led all scorers with 25 points as the Vikings shot .586 from the field and pulled away after leading 41-38 at the half. The Pilots fell to 0-4 in OT games by a combined 14 points, despite Casey Frandsen's 27 points and 16 points and 10 rebounds for Coky Rochin, who had his fourth straight double double. Ross Jorgusen added 16 points, and Adam Quick had his first double double, getting 11 points and 10 assists.

Warner Pacific is at home at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against Walla Walla. Cascade goes to Evergreen State on Friday and Northwest on Saturday. É On Wednesday, Warner Pacific dropped to 2-14 with a 66-62 overtime loss at George Fox. Shawna Damon led Warner with 15 points.
TRAIL BLAZERS: Portland takes a 13-18 record and six-game losing streak into Saturday's home game against Philadelphia.
WINTER HAWKS: Portland has won three in a row going into Friday's game at Kootenay. The Hawks beat Moose Jaw 2-1 Wednesday at Memorial Coliseum, with Lanny Ramage stopping 32 shots.
