Police seize guns, drugs and cash

Suspect also arrested on domestic violence charges

Portland police arrested a man for domestic violence and seized three guns, marijuana and cash on Friday.

Jeffrey Brian Kronenfeld, 27, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on domestic violence related charges of Kidnap in the First Degree, Coercion and Assault in the Fourth Degree. Kronenfeld may face additional drug and firearm charges.

According to police, the investigation started with a domestic violence report. Police also learned Kronenfeld was in possession of multiple firearms.

The Gun Task Force then served a search warrant at a residence in the 4100 block of Southeast 27th Avenue and recovered the firearms - a Glock handgun, an SKS assault rifle, and an IntraTec .22 caliber assault pistol. Police also found a marijuana grow with 59 plants, six to seven pounds of dried marijuana, an $41,000 in cash.

The Drugs and Vice Division and Property Evidence Division responded to the location and assisted with the evidence recovery.

Kronenfeld will be arraigned on Tues., Sept. 6.
