Short attention span sufferers rejoice! The Northwest Film Center presents this year's Oscar nominees for Best Live-Action Short Film and Best Animated Short Film.

The winners in each category were 'The Accountant,' a film about two brothers who try to save their farm from foreclosure, and 'For the Birds' from Pixar Animation Studios, a charming comedy about birds on a telephone wire.

Both winning films are by American filmmakers. The rest of the lineup has an international flair, with films from Austria, Poland, Germany, Ireland and Canada.
