Jennifer Aniston stars as Justine, a retail store employee who cheats on her stoner husband with a cashier who fashions his life after 'The Catcher in the Rye.' Though Aniston never fully inhabits her character, writer Mike White and director Miguel Arteta populate this indie film with brilliantly realized secondary characters. It's definitely worth a look for anyone who has grown weary of the slick formula pictures at the multiplex. (Dawn Taylor)

Robin Williams takes a creepy turn as Seymour Parrish, a photo technician who snaps when he makes a disturbing discovery in one of his customer's snapshots. Williams is truly spooky, and complexities emerge from his performance like spiders from a crack. Don't expect any Kodak moments here: Writer-director Mark Romanek has crafted a technically proficient but emotionally hollow thriller. This is a troubled exposure. (Pat Holmes)
