THE GAME: Oregon State (4-2, 0-2 Pac-10) at Arizona State (4-2, 1-0), 7 p.m. Saturday, Sun Devil Stadium. Radio: KEX (1190 AM). TV: KPDX (UPN/49)
ON THE BEAVERS: Watch OSU's tight ends Saturday. They will be lined up, or sent in motion, to the side of Arizona State's 6-3, 255-pound defensive end, Terrell Suggs, who leads the nation with 12 sacks. 'We have to be aware of where he is. He is so disruptive,' Beaver offensive coordinator Tim Lappano says. 'He creates a lot of havoc in the backfield. We have to do some things to protect the quarterback and make sure we have a couple of people on him at all times, because he is that good.'
ON THE SUN DEVILS: Sophomore QB Andrew Walter took over only 3 1/2 games ago but has thrown for 888 yards in the last two games. His top receiver is Shaun McDonald, a 5-9, 170-pound junior with 39 receptions for 684 yards and eight TDs. OSU coach Dennis Erickson says McDonald might be the best receiver in the Pac-10 'because he is so explosive and makes so many things happen.'
