ON THE HORNETS: Sac State helped the Vikings by beating No. 8 Northern Arizona 24-21 Saturday, giving seven of the eight conference teams at least one loss. Only Montana is unbeaten. The Hornets are at the bottom in scoring offense and scoring defense but rallied from a 14-0 deficit at NAU. They average 14,651 fans per game.

ON THE VIKINGS: Ryan Fuqua is up to 859 yards rushing, and he ran for 243 yards against the Hornets last year. Safety David Goodloe didn't have an interception Saturday against Eastern Washington, but he caused and recovered a fumble on the game's first play. The Viks are 0-2 on the road but have beaten the Hornets in five of six games since joining the Big Sky, including 52-33 last year.
