Tribune boosts Tuesday circulation

The Tribune marks its second anniversary this weekend with a significant circulation increase.

Beginning Tuesday, the Tribune will publish 80,000 copies of its Tuesday edition, an increase of 20,000 copies. The paper also will be distributed more widely throughout the Portland area, as more than 300 racks and other newspaper locations are added this month.

Launched on Feb. 9, 2001, the Tribune publishes twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Friday's circulation will remain at 160,000 copies each week, with 80,000 available from news racks, and another 80,000 copies delivered to Portland-area neighborhoods.

The paper will continue to be free.
