MUSIC / Canadian Brass
7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
The Canadian Brass is regarded as the first group to put the brass quintet on the map as a performing ensemble. Energetic live shows and lively audience rapport have earned the 30-year-old group something of a cult status. Performances run the gamut from formal classical concerts to goofy dialogue and theatrical effects. The quintet announces its musical selections the night of the show.
