Three big routs, easily forgotten?
No. 'You can't lose three games that big and not have your confidence shaken,' starting QB Kellen Clemens says. 'But it wasn't (shaken) nearly as much as people had thought.'
Does the fourth-quarter comeback win against Cal, with many Duck players making key plays, change the direction of UO's season?
Yes. 'It skyrockets the team,' backup QB Jason Fife says. 'Forget the past, we got the win and showed we could finish the game.'
Another close game at UCLA?
Yes. Oregon has needed fourth-quarter comebacks to beat the Bruins the past two seasons, and the Duck players from Southern California love to go home.
But UCLA defends pretty well, and Oregon hasn't showed much consistent offense against Pac-10 teams other than Arizona and Stanford. One would think UCLA's offense would emerge from its funk at some point.
The Ducks' emotion and spirit may be back, but getting their seventh win in Los Angeles won't be easy.
THE PICK: Bruins 21, Ducks 20
