A 31-year-old man fell to his death Sunday morning from the North Williams Avenue overpass onto northbound Interstate 5.

Police will not release the name of the man until his family has been identified.

Police said the man fell at about 11:33 a.m. Witnesses said he might have been reaching for something just prior to falling.

Traffic on northbound I-5 was restricted to one lane during the police investigation.
