Enjoy puppet theater and sweet treats at Harvest Festival

It’s that time of year again. Join us for the Harvest Festival at Millenium Plaza Park on Oct. 31 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Bring your youngsters to an old-fashioned harvest festival full of magnificent games and marvelous crafts.

Dress up in your favorite costume and participate in a day filled with fun. Stroll down Trick or Treat Street and enjoy sweet treats, toys, trinkets and a live performance from Dragon Puppet Theater.

Shake Your Tail Feather: Belly dance

Maia Evart will teach beginning and intermediate dancers. Learn basic belly dance body isolations, steps and rhythms. This motivating workout is appropriate for all ages and body types. Age 12 and older, Oct. 29 to Dec. 17, beginning class 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and intermediate class 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. $49.

Belly Dance Fitness with Maia

Nonstop belly dance steps and exercises will get your heart rate up and challenge your body and brain. This is a fun workout and great for all ages and body types. Bring water, towel and a stretching mat. Age 12 and older, Oct. 30 to Dec.11, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. $49.

After-school Art

Do you have a passion for art? Learn new techniques, try some new materials and meet other children who enjoy art. Acquire new skills in a variety of mediums to ignite imagination, strengthen thinking skills and develop as an artist. Beginners are welcome. Oct. 30 to Dec. 4, age 5 to 8, 4 to 5 p.m. and age 9 to 15, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. $45.
