ACCIDENTS

10/9/12 9:53 a.m. Two neighbors were judged to equally share the blame for an auto accident they were involved in. However, one neighbor has been harassing a woman ever since the wreck and has been coming over to yell at her.

10/10/12 9:09 p.m. A two-car smash-up on Pacific Highway resulted in at least $1,500 in damage to each of the cars.

THEFTS

10/8/12 1:52 p.m. A woman put down a deposit for a condo and her check was cashed, but it was never returned to her.

10/8/12 3:53 p.m. Just five minutes after parking his car near a restaurant on Kruse Oaks Drive, a man’s car was broken into and a pack of clothes was stolen.

10/9/12 7:06 p.m. A thief broke into a Chevy Suburban and stole clothing and sunglasses.

10/10/12 6:05 p.m. Packages containing shoes and a shirt worth $160 were stolen off a porch on Collins Way.

10/10/12 9:13 p.m. During a high school swim meet a thief sneaked into a locker room and stole $60 in cash. Later, other items were discovered to be stolen, including an iPhone case and swim goggles worth $45, $65 in cash and photos.

10/11/12 10:42 a.m. Two watches and Vicoden were taken, possibly by movers who moved a family to their new apartment on Eaglecrest Drive.

10/12/12 11:44 a.m. Eleven table tops were stolen from storage at Stickmen Brewery during the past week. Loss was set at $3,000.

10/12/12 2:14 p.m. An unlocked vehicle on Ridgeway Road was robbed of a toolbox, gas blower, screw gun and nail guns. Loss was set at $1,500.

10/12/12 5:01 p.m. Five political signs were stolen from a yard on Larch Street.

10/12/12 10:05 p.m. Cash and checks were stolen during a wedding ceremony at The Foundry.

10/14/12 11:42 a.m. A duffle bag with clothing was stolen from a car parked on Foothills Drive.

10/14/12 7 p.m. Two Netbook computers were stolen from Rite Aid on B Avenue. Two suspects, a man and a woman, have been identified.

10/8/12 8:30 a.m. A coyote is howling, yowling and acting like it wants to jump over a woman’s fence on Brookside Road.

10/8/12 8:49 a.m. After losing a dispute over concert tickets, a man is threatening to come over with a gun and kill a woman’s whole family.

10/8/12 10:42 a.m. A skinny oddball, entirely dressed in black, may be living in the woods near Twin Fir Road and Douglas Circle. The man was seen taking mail out of mailboxes and walking through backyards.

10/8/12 11:12 a.m. A mystery dog on Oak Terrace has been attacking other dogs and their owners.

10/8/12 4 p.m. After not paying off a loan, a woman has been threatened with having a warrant put out for her arrest.

10/8/12 4:11 p.m. After harassing the receptionist inside Norpac Foods, a female went to sit in her car in the parking lot. Police arrived and she was trespassed.

10/8/12 4:50 p.m. A 52-year-old man was cited and released for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

10/8/12 8:24 p.m. A son left an Aggressor bicycle at a friend’s house, but it was stolen. Now it is listed on Craigslist.

10/9/12 2:58 p.m. Because his partner will not allow him to get his things out of their house, a man is seeking police advice on what action to take.

10/9/12 3:53 p.m. An enraged 20-year-old son is throwing fruit around the house.

10/9/12 9:59 p.m. A bear was reportedly seen at Lakeridge High School.

10/10/12 6:46 p.m. Extra patrols were requested to stop an old man from allowing his poodle to relieve itself in a neighbor’s yard.

10/10/12 10:58 p.m. A wraith-like woman in black keeps jumping and darting into traffic on Iron Mountain Boulevard and Terwilliger Boulevard exit.

10/11/12 7:24 a.m. A missing wife was located on North Shore Road and given a ride home.

10/11/12 8 a.m. Lewis & Clark College told police they will be testing outside speakers, including sirens and recorded voices telling people to seek shelter.

10/11/12 11:17 a.m. A woman broke into a dead run after getting off a bus on Boones Ferry Road. She seemed to be eluding a man who had gotten off the bus and appeared to be following her.

10/11/12 11:41 a.m. The light pole at Villas on the Lake on McVey Avenue was damaged to the extent of $500.

10/11/12 1:17 p.m. A couple accompanied by a child in a stroller are asking people for money in front of the post office on Boones Ferry Road.

10/11/12 3:44 p.m. Eight middle-aged men were passing out religious fliers to children while standing on a sidewalk near a school. Children reported that they felt intimidated by the men.

10/11/12 7:25 p.m. A son is enduring ongoing harassment from known subjects near Westlake Park.

10/12/12 12:11 a.m. An officer came across a family, including an infant, beside their disabled vehicle on Highway 43. The officer gave them a courtesy transport to a church on Knaus Road.

10/12/12 1:14 p.m. A 20-year-old neighbor man might be giving alcohol to a 16-year-old daughter.

10/12/12 7:37 p.m. A big rock fell onto the roadway at Summit and Village drives.

10/12/12 11:22 p.m. Some nondescript looking teens rang a doorbell and ran on Camden Lane. Police warned one juvenile about further ringing.

10/13/12 12:52 a.m. A 15-year-old girl asked to be voluntarily admitted to a hospital and was transported to Emanuel Children’s Hospital.

10/14/12 10:45 p.m. A neighbor who uses medical marijuana may be using another drug, based on the odor coming through the vent of his apartment on Pacific Highway.

10/8/12 8:50 a.m. A fraudulent charge on a credit card created a loss of $50.

10/10/12 9:10 a.m. Someone tried to write $7,000 worth of phony checks on a man’s Bank of America account.

10/11/12 8 a.m. An unauthorized charge of $487 was socked to a person’s Discover card account.

10/12/12 3:11 p.m. A former employee of a business is suspected of stealing a check and cashing it.
