9/2/11 9:51 a.m. After having her earrings stolen, a woman spotted the man who took them walking toward the library.

9/2/11 1:33 p.m. A child's 10-speed bike was taken on Hill Way.

9/2/11 10:59 p.m. Several high end items were stolen from a home on Galewood Street.

9/3/11 8:02 a.m. A radar detector valued at $400 was taken from a hotel parking lot on Kruse Oaks Drive.

9/4/11 9:24 p.m. A vehicle on Edens Edge Drive was found with a window smashed in, possibly in a theft attempt.

9/5/11 2:57 p.m. After having his wallet lifted in Tualatin, a man followed two suspects to Lake Oswego High School, where they were looked for by police. The suspects were reportedly arrested later in Beaverton.

9/6/11 9:02 a.m. An unlocked car on Parrish Street was robbed of jewelry, vitamins, hair accessories and other items, adding up to an estimated loss of several thousand dollars.

9/6/11 12:24 p.m. A thief busted into a car on Jefferson Parkway and stole a Samsung T-Mobile Vibrant Galaxy cellphone worth $500.

9/6/11 6:58 p.m. A Grand Prix parked at Columbia Sportswear was robbed of a bag, swimsuit and towel with a total value of $200. In addition, the rear window of the car was damaged to the extent of $250.

9/7/11 9:28 a.m. A paint sprayer worth $900 was heisted from a job site on Fernwood Drive.

9/7/11 10:36 a.m. A wallet containing an Oregon driver's license, two credit cards and a debit card was stolen from a Toyota FJ Cruiser on Fernwood Circle.

9/7/11 7:19 p.m. A purse and keys were swiped from a vehicle on 17147 Old River Road.

9/7/11 7:54 p.m. A bicycle was stolen from an apartment on Jefferson Parkway.

9/8/11 11:47 a.m. A house being constructed on Dunmire Drive was robbed of a $5,000 air-conditioning unit.

9/8/11 2:58 p.m. A woman's brother has been stealing her narcotic medications and money.


9/2/11 4:50 p.m. A 17-year-old is suspected in an attempted burglary in which he tried to kick in the front door of a woman's home.

9/8/11 8:54 p.m. A burglar on Cheryl Court cleaned out a garage of sports equipment, stealing three sets of custom Nike golf clubs, prototype Nike irons and drivers, Maui Jim sunglasses, and three dozen Nike golf balls. The loss was estimated at $5,000.


9/2/11 noon A dark-green Cadillac Escalade hit a golf cart on Jefferson Parkway.


9/1/11 7:33 a.m. The laundry room at Bay Vista Apartments was vandalized. The top of a commercial laundry machine valued at $800, including coin drop with an unknown number of quarters, was taken. The suspect is believed to be driving a white station wagon.

9/1/11 4:52 p.m. A woman found it hard to get out of her driveway due to a dead squirrel on Kingsgate Road.

9/1/11 6:21 p.m. A vandal caused $1,800 in damage to an apartment on First Street by using a knife to scratch the building.

9/1/11 10:15 p.m. A man was observed vomiting in his silver Lexus just as he was getting ready to drive away from a bar on State Street.

9/2/11 7:46 a.m. A man woke up babbling after falling asleep on a park bench at the bus stop at The Bluffs at Mountain Park. Soon he was being transported to Hooper Detoxification Stabilization Center for detox.

9/2/11 11:01 a.m. Yard debris is piling up on railroad property on North Shore Road and Berwick Road.

9/2/11 11:07 a.m. 'Out of Business' signs were plastered on pedestrian railings on First Street and A Avenue.

9/2/11 12:04 p.m. Kids were reportedly doing drugs in the woods near Hemlock Street. Needles have been found on the trail and 'cooking' may be going on.

9/2/11 12:19 p.m. Doors at Lakeridge High were sprayed with graffiti. Damage was estimated at $50 to $75.

9/2/11 1:18 p.m. An estranged husband is accusing his wife of having affairs with people she barely knows. He is also calling them to make threats.

9/2/11 10:04 p.m. Upon returning his son to his ex-wife's home, the ex-husband threw the boy's things, hitting a plant that then hit the woman.

9/2/11 11:19 p.m. Teenage girls were screaming and singing at a residence on Piper Court. They could easily be heard through an open window.

9/3/11 9:21 a.m. An 11-year-old boy told a woman he has been beaten up by his older brothers over the past few months.

9/3/11 9:50 a.m. A downed tree covered half the street on Partridge Lane and Walking Woods Drive.

9/3/11 10:39 a.m. A woman is worried about her safety because her estranged husband is making calls to family and friends.

9/3/11 3:46 p.m. A boy was attacked by a dog being held on a leash by another boy on Lakeview Boulevard.

9/3/11 9:57 p.m. A 15-year-old boy carrying a bag of clothes escaped from a youth facility.

9/4/11 12:47 a.m. Just as he was leaving the Crowne Plaza Hotel, a teenage boy was chased by some people. The 15-year-old boy was returned to his parents and referred to Washington County for a curfew violation.

9/4/11 6:12 a.m. A teenage boy was yelling outside of a residence on Greentree Road. He was warned about violating the city noise ordinance.

9/4/11 12:49 p.m. People have been taking advantage of a downed fence to use a pool on River Run Drive.

9/4/11 2:34 p.m. A speeding driver slowed down long enough to back over a neighbor's 'Slow Down' sign on Bryant and West Bay roads.

9/4/11 5:53 p.m. Two runaway juveniles were found having dinner at McDonald's on Highway 43.

9/4/11 6:48 p.m. A teenage daughter is getting unfriendly text messages from former friends.

9/4/11 7:33 p.m. A wife having mental health issues was taken into protective custody and transported to a hospital.

9/4/11 7:59 p.m. A cat sitter turned on the burglar alarm by accident at a house on Chandler Place.

9/4/11 10:44 p.m. Drunken people were making a ruckus as they departed an establishment on B Avenue.

9/5/11 2:05 p.m. Distraught over his marital problems, a man has been making suicide statements over the past week and sending his children messages that say 'Goodbye.' After the man called the crisis line, he was taken to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

9/5/11 2:31 p.m. A constant barking dog problem is causing a man great tension on Kilkenny Road.

9/5/11 5:25 p.m. A house on Chelsea Drive has been targeted by a neighborhood nuisance who rings the doorbell and runs. In addition, two nights ago cars parked by the house were vandalized with toilet paper and stickers.

9/6/11 6:41 a.m. A large firecracker blew up a mailbox on Independence Avenue, causing a loss of $100.

9/6/11 11:22 a.m. Three potheads were discovered lighting up behind some blackberry bushes near Bryant Elementary School.

9/6/11 6:45 p.m. A woman is suspicious that some address painters are actually burglars casing her Cobb Way neighborhood.

9/6/11 9:46 p.m. A drunken person keeps returning to bother other drinkers at an establishment on A Avenue.

9/6/11 10:03 p.m. A husband has not been seen since his argument with his wife 24 hours ago. He is on medication for depression and high blood pressure.

9/6/11 11:15 p.m. A 16-year-old boy was locked out of his house by his parents, and he now feels anxious, depressed and wants to hurt himself. He was transported to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

9/6/11 11:28 p.m. A mother was spooked by the strange man who was staring at her house on Second Street for the past three hours.

9/7/11 8:48 a.m. A neighbor on Quarry Road has been harassing a leaf-blowing service.

9/7/11 10:32 a.m. An ex-husband keeps harassing his ex-wife with texts about their children and her personal life, rebuffing her pleas for him to stop.

9/7/11 11:28 a.m. A couple apparently suffering from mental problems came up to a woman's door and claimed to be her daughter and boyfriend. They appeared later to shoot through a window with a liquid-containing taser.

9/7/11 11:32 a.m. A man painted up like a clown aroused a woman's suspicion when he dropped to the ground on State Street after he spotted her watching him.

9/7/11 5:17 p.m. A church asked two vagrants to get the heck out of its parking lot.

9/7/11 6:59 p.m. Some keys, a pizza and a baby were locked inside a car parked on Westlake Drive.

9/7/11 11 p.m. Three drunken people got into a loud fight while they were walking home down Jean Road.

9/8/11 8:21 a.m. A grandson with a history of alcohol and drug abuse assaulted his grandmother, hitting her arm and throwing a phone at her.

9/8/11 9:28 a.m. While spying on her neighbor through a fence, a woman spotted two marijuana plants. It turned out the neighbor has a medical marijuana card.

9/8/11 11:47 a.m. A pregnant wife and her 4-year-old daughter have been missing since she dropped her other daughter off at Lake Grove Elementary School. But the search was canceled when the family was reunited.

9/8/11 1:12 p.m. A teenage son is refusing to go to school and is telling his mother he intends to move in with his dad in Burns.

9/8/11 1:24 p.m. A snippy solicitor called a woman a nasty name after she chided him for ignoring her 'No Soliciting' sign.

9/8/11 5:36 p.m. A wayward youth twisted his mom's arm, then tried to hotwire her car. He is now lodged at the Donald E. Long detention facility for unlawful possession of a firearm, fourth-degree assault and menacing.

9/8/11 7:09 p.m. A group of youths objected when asked to stop urinating in the corner of a store on South State Street.

9/8/11 11:34 p.m. A sobbing woman on Oak Street reported that her abusive boyfriend had thrown her to the floor 10 times. However, she refused medical help.


8/30/11 10:54 a.m. After a 'repairman' said he would fix a car for $350, it now looks even worse.

8/30/11 2:14 p.m. A caller claiming to be from Wells Fargo has since been attempting to use a woman's credit card.

8/31/11 1:31 p.m. A woman received a 'non-sufficient fund' check from a customer for $168.23.

8/31/11 2:05 p.m. A stolen check was used to make a purchase of $112.14 at New Seasons.

9/3/11 9:02 a.m. Money was taken out of a woman's bank account via an ATM in New York.

9/8/11 3:32 p.m. Someone's former roommate forged and cashed a check for $425.
