The Performing Arts Group of Estacada, an all-ages community theater, is holding auditions for its presentation of Alice in Wonderland. All interested actors, ages 10 and up, are welcome to audition. The play's performance dates will be March 14-17, and all audition meetings will be held in the Flora Room of the Estacada Public Library, 825 NW Wade Street, Estacada.

There will be a mandatory actors meeting and read-through from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30. An optional read-through will be held form 3:30-5:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2.

Auditions will be held from 6-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 8. This will be a cold reading and actors should only attend one audition. Actors will be dismissed when the audition is over.

Roles will be emailed and posted on Facebook on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

The first cast read-through along with board and crew introductions will be from 6:30-9 p.m., Thursday Dec. 13.

There are 28 roles, plus several additional roles for a poetry group that will be performing some Lewis Carroll poems in conjunction with the play. Whole roles are not guaranteed, anyone who is not selected may be offered crew positions.

A parent or guardian must attend meetings for children in junior high or younger who are auditioning.
