Police log

Information for the public safety column comes from public records of the Sandy Police Department. Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:

WARRANTS

10:37 p.m. Nov. 20; Jesse L. Brockner, 27, Sandy, was arrested at the police department after turning himself in on a Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear for theft. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $7,500 bail.

10:37 p.m. Nov. 20; Corey S. Fuselier, 23, Sandy, was arrested at a Sandy business on a Clackamas County warrant for theft. He also was charged with theft at the Sandy business where he was arrested. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $5,000 bail.

11:45 p.m. Nov. 24; Christopher E. Bergamini, 35, Sandy, was arrested in the 38900 block of Proctor Boulevard on a state parole violation. He also was charged with possession of methamphetamine and less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

IMPAIRED DRIVING

12:40 p.m. Nov. 24; Katharine A. L. Fidler, 22, Boring, was arrested near Scales Avenue and Pleasant Street under suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where she was cited and released.

BURGLARY

2:19 p.m. Nov. 22; a man living in the 17900 block of Loundree Drive reported that he had left his garage door open overnight, and someone took two bows and assorted accessories, valued at $1,200. No suspects were identified.

THEFT

9:40 a.m. Nov. 19; a woman living in the 39900 block of Gary Street reported that someone had taken prescription medicine from her home. A person of interest was identified, and an investigation is ongoing.

11:02 a.m. Nov. 19; a city employee reported to police that a basketball net had been taken from Timberline Park in the past three weeks.

4 p.m. Nov. 19; a woman living in the 18000 block of Langensand Road reported that someone had used her debit card to purchase items at an area store. The reported loss was $80.

12:22 p.m. Nov. 25; a local resident reported that someone had broken into a vehicle parked in the 39000 block of Proctor Boulevard. The reported loss was $80 in cash.

JUVENILES

12:18 p.m. Nov. 19; a 15-year-old Sandy girl was reported having sex with a 27-year-old man. This is the third such incident reported by Sandy police in the past three weeks, where older men were involved with 14- or 15-year-old girls. An investigation was begun with police, the Department of Human Services and a Sandy detective participating. An arrest has not yet been made.

11:40 a.m. Nov. 20; a 17-year-old Sandy boy was so irritated when leaving the Sandy Police Department that he punched a hole in a wall in the first floor lobby. Police arrested him at his home on Coralburst Street and transported him to the county juvenile reception center for corrective action.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

10:48 a.m. Nov. 19; overnight someone broke a street light in Timberline Park.

8:15 a.m. Nov. 20; a man living in the 18100 block of Van Fleet Avenue reported that one of the windows in his car had been shot out with a pellet gun between Nov. 8 and Nov. 20 while the car was parked in his driveway.

1:40 p.m. Nov. 21; a man living in the 37600 block of Sunset Street reported that one of the windows in his car had been broken overnight while it was parked near his home. Loss was estimated at $300.

12:15 p.m. Nov. 22; an unidentified person reported that one of the windows in a car in the 16600 block of 362nd Drive had been broken while it was parked near a local business.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

5:24 p.m. Nov. 23; a woman reported to police that someone had hit her car while she was driving it, and the other driver had driven away. Loss value was estimated at more than $1,500.

4:27 p.m. Nov. 24; a woman reported to police that someone had kicked her car while she was driving it away from a business in the 37800 block of Highway 26. The woman and another witness said they would be able to identify the suspect. The case is under investigation.
