An interrupted 911 call led to the arrest of a shooting suspect on December.
Fernando Rojas-Salazar, 18, is Assault 4 for domestic violence and Attempted Murder for the earlier shooting incident.
According to police, around 3:00 a.m. on Dec. 16, North Precinct officers responded to a 911 hang up call at a hotel in the 400 block of Northeast Wasco. During their investigation, the officers determined they had probable cause to arrest Rojas-Salazar for Assault 4 in relation to the 911 call.
The officers were aware there was also probable cause to arrest Rojas-Salazar for Attempted Murder in a previously reported shooting. It happened on Sept. 16 in the parking lot of the Plaid Pantry located at 8110 North Fremont Street. No one was injured in that shooting.
