Each episode will lead to the next

The Unscriptables, Portland’s improvisational theater group, presents its take on Tennessee Williams’ universe with “The Uninvited: Tennessee Williams With Zombies,” where the dead don’t stay dead and are just trying to get decent work, decent “living” conditions and most of all, overcome the adversities that come with trying to love someone with a pulse.

“The Uninvited” is an episodic show, so the events of the previous performances help shape the story as a whole until the main story arc reaches its conclusion. In order to get the whole story of “The Uninvited” you should attend all the shows. The show is designed to be enjoyable no matter where you start and end though, as the performers start every episode with a “previously seen” segment.

Performances are scheduled for Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and Feb. 2, 9 and 15 at 8 p.m. at the Funhouse Lounge, 2432 SE 11th Ave., Portland. Admission to all shows is on a pay-what-you-want basis; with a suggested ticket price of $10 per seat.
