The company does custom laser engraving for employee awards, customers, teams and other groups and can make personalized gifts using photos.

The owners of Laserwerks, Mary and Don Svela, have opened a new showroom in Milwaukie to illustrate the latest ways to say thanks.

"At Laserwerks, we are dedicated to providing you with the tools you need to promote, award and capture important moments," Mary Svela said. "We produce and customize awards for employees, customers, teams and groups, as well as create and support recognition and incentive programs."

In addition, the company can create personalized gifts using your photos using the unique products now available on the market.

The Svelas have been in business six years doing custom laser engraving. They said they would like to be the source for recognition, motivation and promotion and that customers can count on their knowledge of the custom-engraving and photo-sublimation field.

As six-year members of the Awards and Recognition Association, Don Svela was recently awarded the designation of CRS, which stands for Certified Recognition Specialist, and Mary Svela holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation from the American Society of Training and Development.

The company's overall philosophy is to be committed to providing customers with quality service and quick turnaround at reasonable prices. They believe that recognition is priceless, and at Laserwerks, giving this important recognition is affordable.
