Portland radio personality will interview the mayors of Beaverton and Tualatin
The Ed Forman Show, Portland's version of 'The Tonight Show,' is traversing the Northwest this fall interviewing the men and women who run our cities as a part of the EDbitious 'Ed Meets the Mayor' Tour.
On Oct. 7, he will be at the newly opened Billy's Bar in Beaverton for the first date of the tour to interview Beaverton Mayor Dennis Doyle.
A late-night talk show that, according to a spokesman for the show, 'mixes edgy audience interaction, absurd sketch comedy, playful interviews and exceptional music all under the watch of a self-serving motivational guru,' The Ed Forman Show has been performing weekly at Dante's in downtown Portland for the past three years.
'Imagine Stephen Colbert as a libidinous sociopath,' said Willamette Week. 'Forman's lacerating wit and bottomless energy make for a hilarious evening of great gags and public humiliation.'
In addition to the 'Ed Meets the Mayor' Tour's first stop in Beaverton, Forman will also be interviewing local dignitaries in Coos Bay, Milwaukie, Newport, Oregon City, Pullman, Silverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Walla Walla and Vancouver.
Billy's Bar is located at 13905 S.W. Canyon Road, and the show, costing $3 per head, is set for 8 p.m.
