A 48-year-old Eugene woman died early Friday morning after her car crashed through the seawall in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and plunged into the Willamette River.
Portland police said Lynne M. Salvi died in the accident.
Police and the Portland Fire and Rescue dive team responded to the scene near the Salmon Street Fountain around 3 a.m. Sept. 16.
