Early morning shootings leave bullet holes, no victims
Portland police are investigating early morning shootings in two neighborhoods.
No one was injured in the shootings.
Police said that at about 12:46 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to reports of a possible shooting near the intersection of Northeast 117th Avenue and Eugene Street. Officers didn't find any victims, but found bullet holes in an unoccupied house in the 2100 block of Northeast 117th Avenue.
At 12:50 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots near Southeast 117th Avenue and Pine Street. Officers found another house with bullet holes in the 200 block of Southeast 119th Avenue.
The Gang Enforcement Team is helping with the investigation. Police are not sure if the two incidents are connected.
