Art Around the Clock: Local 14 Rocks On!

by: SUBMITTED PHOTO LOCAL 14’s annual art show and sale will follow the theme of “Art Around the Clock, Local 14 Rocks On” from Sept. 29 through Oct. 2 at Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center.  Included in the show is art from Lake Oswego artists Theresa Andreas-O’Leary, Maud Durland (pictured), Bonnie Garlington and Debra Perry-Guetti and others. This year the show will feature a new “Artists’ Book of Days” on opening night with a portion of the proceeds going to the Oregon Food Bank as well as art scholarships.

The Lake Oswego Craft and Arts League's 44th show and sale, 'Art Around the Clock, Local 14 Rocks On,' will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at Miller Hall, Western Forestry Center.

This year, the show features their new 'Artists' Book of Days' on opening night with a portion of the proceeds going to the Oregon Food Bank as well as art scholarships.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, the group will host 'First Night, First Sight, First Bite' from 6 to 9 p.m., presenting their 2012 calendar daybook. It features the juried art of more than 70 Northwest women.

The evening includes wine and light hors d'oeuvres. Admission is $10.

The show continues to run Friday, Sept. 30 , from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The group appreciates a one-time $5 donation for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
