New COCC classes offered
Niche Crafting Your Business, a new class for COCC in Madras, is designed for the entrepreneurs or small businesses that are serious about success and want to keep on the right track.
This six-week class, scheduled for Thursday evenings, Jan. 10 through Feb. 14, 6:30 to 8 p.m., is an in-depth course that presents the basic rules for making niches that create greater profits for the small business.
Join COCC instructor and veteran business owner, Glennis Fellas, as she teacher tried and true methods for business success. Along with currently being a freelance writer and workshop presenter living in Madras, her experience includes owning and operating two printing and publishing companies, one in Forest Grove, and the other in Cody, Wyo.
"My business philosophy was to buy a small business and grow it," said Fellas.
During these uncertain economic times, whether you're a "Mom and Pop" business or an individual home-based enterprise, this class is for you.

Burn those holiday calories, strengthen your body and step into shape in COCC's Fit for Life: Step and Strength aerobics class, scheduled for 6 to 7:15 p.m., Monday and Wednesdays, Jan. 7 through Feb. 13, in Madras.
COCC and AFAA-certified instructor Kimberly Yaskus combine low impact aerobic conditioning, plus hand weight work for muscle strengthening and group exercise.
Join this fun and upbeat workout. Students provide their own step (and two cans of soup make great hand weights).
