Hospital Auxiliary recognizes volunteers


   Mountain View Hospital Auxiliary presented 35 volunteers with awards and installed new officers Oct. 15, during a luncheon at the hospital.
   The new officers are: president Char Davis, vice president Donna Beaux, secretary Marie Easter, treasurer Marilyn Watts, and parliamentarian Judy Keillor.
   Volunteers were awarded for hours served as follows:
   100 Hours - Darlene Binder, Pat Elliott, Elouise Gregg, Hazel Martin, Valeni Miller, Nancy Pheiffer, Dora Prow, Marilyn Rolfe, Thelma Reed, Dorothy Rico.
   500 Hours - Sharon Haag, Sadie Taylor, Don Wires.
   1,000 Hours - Dorothy McCool, Pat Bauersfeld, Mildred Gladwell.
   1,500 Hours - Mary Bosch, Freda Stevenson; 2,000 Hours - Marie Cornwall, Delores Vincent, Irene Wires; 2,500 Hours - Margaret Steele; 3,000 Hours - Anna Meyers; 3,500 Hours - Margaret Calvillo.
   4,000 Hours - June Miller; 4,500 Hours - Jo Bailey; 5,500 Hours - Marilyn Watts; 7,500 Hours - Thelma Fine; and 8,000 Hours, Judy Keillor.
   Funds raised by the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store went towards the purchase of healthcare items including: $10,000 for furniture for private patient rooms, $10,000 in student scholarships, $4,200 for emergency room and hospital patient gowns, $3,100 for Spiritual Center furniture, $1,200 for living Center sound system, $1,000 for parties and gifts, $800 for Living Center resident gowns, $200 for clothing for Living Center residents.
