Madras resident marshalls at Bob Hope-Chrysler Classic

Ditmore took part in event at PGA West and three other Palm Springs courses

   Dean Ditmore, a long-time resident of Madras, is one of 800 marshalls who served to herd and control crowds at one of four golf courses used during this year's Bob Hope-Chrysler Classic. A five-round event played on desert courses near Palm Springs
   The five-round stop of the Professional Golf Association's tour at various courses in the Palm Springs, Calif., area including the PGA West Course, is happening from Jan. 16 to 20. Some of Ditmore's duties will include working between the first tee and 18th green at PGA West on the tournament's final day. Other action will take place at Indian Wells, Tamarisk and Bermuda Dunes.
