Farm Fair Feb. 6 & 7
During winter's off-season break, growers have the opportunity to attend a variety of seminars on industry trends and research, while earning hours to renew licenses in many cases. It's also a great time to meet and visit with your neighbors.
At four of the educational sessions, growers can earn three hours of recertification credit for pesticide application licenses.
Topics will include general agricultural issues affecting growers in Central Oregon , and production information and research reports on grass seed, forage and cereals, and peppermint.
The Farm Fair is sponsored by the Jefferson County Seed Growers, Central Oregon Peppermint Growers, Central Oregon Hay Growers and Oregon State University Extension.
Over 60 exhibitors, with information on a wide array of agricultural services and equipment, are expected to participate in this year's Trade Show.
The Farm Fair is always a welcome social event, was well as a great opportunity to see the latest in agricultural equipment, and get updates on issues affecting agriculture and research.
