Man faces sexual abuse, attempted rape charges

> Feb. 6, 2002 -- A Jefferson County man facing four counts of first-degree sex abuse, four counts of third-degree sex abuse, first-degree attempted rape and third-degree attempted rape has pleaded innocent to the charges in Jefferson County Circuit Court.
Miguel Torres-Reynoso Sr., 38, is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on $200,000 bail. He is being represented by court-appointed attorney Ed Sites.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's office received a report from a minor female on Jan. 15 accusing Torres-Reynoso of the crimes. The incidents allegedly occurred on both Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 on Canyon Road near Madras at Torres-Reynoso's residence.
He was arrested Jan. 29 and indicted by a grand jury on the charges a day later.
