le Watch 2002 will celebrate Lake Billy Chinook's population of bald eagles and other raptors Feb. 23-24.
   The seventh annual observance will feature a wide array of speakers, activities and organized viewing sessions at various locations around the reservoir from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, and beginning at 10 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 24.
   Included will be eagle viewing sessions, guest speakers, live birds of prey presentations by the High Desert Museum at PGE's Round Butte Overlook Park.
   A Sunrise Eagle Tour, sponsored by Raven Research West, will launch Sunday's activities at 5:30 a.m. at the Cove Palisades State Park. Also on Sunday, native American legends and a performance of the eagle dance, and viewing of eagles at Overlook Park until 5 p.m.
   Admission is free, but a day-use permit will be required at locations within the Cove State Park.
