Creston-Kenilworth man arrested on gun, drug, and domestic violence charges

When officers knocked on the door of a Creston-Kenilworth residence in the 4100 block of S.E. 27th Avenue on the evening of September 2nd, Portland Police Bureau (PPB) officers assigned to the Gang Enforcement Team were pursuing a domestic violence investigation.
'Additionally, in an investigation being conducted by the Gun Task Force,' said PPB Public Information Officer Lt. Robert King, 'indicated that a subject was in possession of multiple firearms.'
With search warrant in hand, the Police Bureau's Drugs and Vice Division and Property Evidence Division officers also were present as they entered the home.
'Officers recovered three firearms: A Glock handgun, an SKS assault rifle, and an IntraTec .22 caliber assault pistol,' King revealed. 'Additionally they found a marijuana grow operation with 59 plants - and six to seven pounds of dried marijuana - and $41,000 in cash.'
At 6:45 pm that evening, police arrested 27-year-old Jeffrey Brian Kronenfeld on multiple charges, King said. 'Kronenfeld was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on domestic violence related charges of Kidnap in the First Degree, Coercion and Assault in the Fourth Degree.'
According to Multnomah County Detention Center records, Kronenfeld is also facing charges multiple drug and firearm charges. He remains in custody with a combined bail of more than $500,000.
