Pat Hatton was a Portland native, born to Doris and Cloyd Watt on July 26, 1941. She graduated from Madison High School in 1959, and worked many years in the antique retail business in southern California and in Portland. Most recently she worked at Stars Antiques Malls, at 7027 S.E. Milwaukie Avenue in Westmoreland. She passed away unexpectedly during routine surgery on September 13 at the age of 60, and her funeral was held the following Saturday at the Riverview Abbey.

Pat was a very active woman, and friends recall that she loved antique shopping and animals. She cared for her customers, co-workers, and family members, as well. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Lange; son-in-law James Lange; and grandson James in Madras; and a son, Chris Hatton, and daughter-in-law Rene, in Phoenix, Arizona. She also is survived by two brothers and their wives, in Portland and West Linn, as well as other family members, and a pet cat.

She was remembered by Brent Heeb of Stars Antiques Malls, and by numerous friends, at her funeral service as 'a very warm and loving person and a friend to many'.
