> Culver High's track and field Bulldogs are getting back on track this week after a break of nearly two weeks.
Having been given off their spring break, the Bulldogs coached by Brian Wachs were scheduled to resume their training Monday in preparation for a trip to La Pine and an April 2 meet on Wednesday.
There are going to be plenty of opportunities for the Culver competitors to get back into action this week as there are meets in The Dalles on both Friday and Saturday which some members of the team are going too race in.
Workhorses like Nate Lewis, Val Calvin, Katelyn Alley, Anthony Alley and Crystal Alley are among many important cogs in the Culver track machine which Wachs is counting on.
Katelyn Alley and Lewis each got off to strong starts and won earlier at Mt. View in Bend. Both are planning to be pressing for more wins this week.
Along with the core already noted, many other Bulldogs will bid to score points for Culver this week.
Among the remainder of this year's roster are: Anthony Alley, David Axsom, Joel Baltazar, Nancy Baltazar, Cory Boyd, Val Calvin, Luis Haro, Jenna Krueger, Toni Larimer, Lewis, Megan Marino, Brandon Noack, Maury Rhoan, Charlene Stuber, Tonya Thompson and Samantha York.
Each of those Culver competitors will be out to gain some attention for their school along with points and high finishes this week.
