Oktoberfest welcomes fall with festivities

Performances by the Oom Pah Boys and Alpine Echoes Band highlight the annual event in West Linn

West Linn's annual Oktoberfest celebration was last weekend. Residents and families all came out to enjoy good music, great food and companionship.

Whether it was the polka or the chicken dance, people of all ages enjoyed the festivities.

The event was held at the intersection 13th Street and Willamette Falls Drive.

On Friday evening, the Oom Pah Boys performed by bringing their Alpine entertainment with their horn and accordion.

On Saturday, the Alpine Echoes Band performed German and folk music.

There were also raffles held throughout the weekend.
