>   Have you been wondering what you could do to help the City of Madras redevelop its image?
The city is looking for six Madras residents interested in becoming involved in the city's urban renewal as members of the Madras Redevelopment Commission.
The commission is charged with the redevelopment and improvement of the city's urban renewal district.
Commission members will consider ideas on how to catch the eye of tourists and entice them to stop, spend money and maybe move here.
Positions on the Madras Redevelopment Commission will be nominated and appointed by the Madras City Council, and members will serve a four-year term.
Those interested should submit a letter of interest by July 31, to Carol Parker, community development director, at Madras City Hall, at the corner of Sixth and D streets. For more information call 475-2344.
