Rodeo part of county fair

Rodeo competition returns as a main attraction this year at this week's annual Jefferson County Fair. Sanctioned by the Northwest Pro Rodeo Association, the Jefferson County Fair rodeo is slated for 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.
Cowboys will battle for points in bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, bull riding, calf roping and other events while cowgirls will try to win the barrel racing event.
Admission to the rodeo is included with the $5 fee for admission through the fair gate. Tickets to rides are sold separately from the gate passes which can be brought for all four days for $15.
