ACCIDENT

9/26/11 7:03 p.m. A hit-and-run accident on Leafy Lane resulted in $1,450 in damage to a vehicle.

THEFT

9/26/11 8:01 a.m. A camera, tripod and case with a total value of $500 were stolen from a Lexus on Lake Bay Court. A barking dog alerted the reporting person of the crime.

9/27/11 8:03 a.m. A woman's cell phone was stolen while she was shopping at Safeway.

9/27/11 8:30 p.m. A student at Lakeridge High School had his iPhone taken.

9/27/11 10:28 p.m. A boy's Samsung Vibrant Galaxy Android cellphone was stolen at Lakeridge High.

9/28/11 7:39 a.m. The girls locker room at Lakeridge High School was hit by a thief who stole an iPhone worth $300 and a pair of jeans.

9/29/11 12:39 a.m. A mother has twice stolen money from her son's PayPal account in the past two days.

9/29/11 8:58 a.m. An iPod touch valued at $400 was removed from a gym locker at Lakeridge High.

9/29/11 11:26 p.m. A gas station on South Shore Boulevard was left in the lurch when a man said he would return to pay $40. He has yet to return.

9/29/11 3:40 p.m. A man who appeared to be 'a little off' walked into Rite Aid, took a can of chili, and then left without paying.

9/30/11 10:35 a.m. Car keys were stolen from a Toyota Tundra while the driver was shopping at the Lake Oswego Farmer's Market.

9/30/11 4:20 p.m. A diamond ring worth about $35,000 was stolen from a location on Alder Circle. Tigard police recovered the ring.

10/1/11 2:33 p.m. A Dell laptop worth $650 was stolen from an estate sale on Wren Street.

MISC.

9/26/11 8:49 a.m. An eighth-grader was picking on a mother's fifth-grade son at Hallinan Elementary School, most recently by spitting on him. The mother said this conduct has been going on for years.

9/27/11 2:01 p.m. Recent events have caused a woman on Westview Circle to have flashbacks of a stalker who followed her in the 1980s. A strange man came to her door and a prowler came sneaking by nearby a couple nights ago.

9/27/11 4:33 p.m. A dog wearing a large yellow bandana continues to elude efforts to catch him and return him to his home on Kimball Street.

9/27/11 7:29 p.m. A 13-year-old client punched a 12-year-old client in the head at a youth facility.

9/27/11 11:46 p.m. A man about to have his car towed away was making it hard for the towing company on Jefferson Parkway.

9/28/11 8:11 a.m. A woman removed by Rivergrove Elementary School officials for walking her dog on campus is back and walking her dog. She was cited for second-degree criminal trespass and released.

9/28/11 1:25 p.m. A transient, and non-customer, at a restaurant on A Avenue has been causing discomfort for customers by staying in the men's restroom for 20 minutes.

9/28/11 1:58 p.m. A panhandler has been asking people for money outside of a bagel shop on South State Street. Being removed from the entire shopping center is now in his imminent future.

9/28/11 3:50 p.m. Unauthorized dumping is taking place at a location on Kerr Parkway. The dumper drove off in a black SUV.

9/28/11 4:26 p.m. An ex-girlfriend is refusing to break ties with her former male companion and is continually sending him emails.

9/28/11 6:21 p.m. A 12-year-old boy has run away from home after making threats of suicide and threatening to kill a woman with a knife. Nunchucks were among the items he took with him. However, the young lad later returned home.

9/28/11 6:24 p.m. A cat stayed around a porch on Kerr Parkway for such a long time that this excellent description was obtained: Black, long hair, bushy tail, skinny, a zip tie around its neck and meowing for over an hour. The little rascal ran off as soon as an officer arrived.

9/29/11 10:39 p.m. An older, skinny, disoriented woman rang a doorbell at an abode on Diane Drive, tried the doorknob, then tried to get into the garage. It turned out she just needed directions.

9/29/11 12:14 p.m. A dog repaid a man trying to dislodge a ball from its throat by biting him on the finger.

9/29/11 7:10 p.m. A baseball struck a Lexus as it motored down Country Club Road, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

9/29/11 9:51 p.m. An ungrateful friend is refusing to return the laptop he borrowed.

9/30/11 8:30 a.m. Screaming cats greeted the arrival of a coyote at a residence on Lakeview Boulevard. Later, one of the cats was discovered missing.

9/30/11 9:49 a.m. An hysterical, screaming woman threatened to kill herself.

9/30/11 10:54 a.m. A woman became apprehensive when a swarthy man of average size came up to her and offered to fix her car for $500, then whittled the price down to $250. The man was said to have the gift of gab.

9/30/11 1:32 p.m. Two skateboarders heedlessly blew through a stop sign at Country Commons and Knaus Road.

9/30/11 5 p.m. A man tried to kill himself but was taken to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

9/30//11 5:36 p.m. Three teenagers climbed a water tower in George Rogers Park.

9/30/11 9:51 p.m. A man texted a friend that he was going to commit suicide. The crisis was stopped when the man was taken to Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.

10/1/11 1:07 p.m. Problems with liquor bottles and a stolen bench caused two 17-year-old boys to come under suspicion.

10/1/11 8:50 p.m. Flying bologna struck a car going down Boones Ferry Road. Suspected in the incident were people attending a party on Carman Drive.

10/1/11 11:08 p.m. A teenage drinking party clunked to a conclusion when police cited five 17-year-olds for being minors in possession of alcohol and for marijuana possession.
