Moore also will assume the title of associate publisher for the Beaverton Valley Times.

In assuming these expanded duties, Moore will continue to provide leadership to the four newspapers - all part of the Pamplin Media Group - and continue her community involvement in Washington County.

'Christine has proven over the past 10 years to be an exceptionally valuable member of the management team at Pamplin Media Group,' said Mark Garber, president of the Portland Tribune and Community newspapers, who announced the change in job title and responsibilities this week.

Moore joined Pamplin Media Group in 2001 as the westside advertising manager and later was promoted to the role of associate publisher for The Times. She is a graduate of California State  Polytechnic University, with a bachelor of science in communication arts. Prior to joining the Pamplin Media Group, Moore was advertising and marketing director for the daily East Oregonian, based in Pendleton.
