Confusion spun all around him as the clock ran down on Parkrose player Victor Rojas on Thursday night.

Coming out of a timeout tied 9-9, the Broncos had a plan to create a solid shot with their final possession. Players criss-crossed in front of the cage, but the Reynolds defenders held their position and clogged the passing lanes.

Rojas was left holding the ball near the center line with a defender in his face forcing him to backpedal inch-by-inch away from the goal. As the shot clock wound down, Parkrose coach Gary Muzzy shouted for his player to dump the ball into the corner - basically a 'give-up' play designed to take time away from the Raiders ensuing attack.

As the shot clock flipped to :01, Rojas let loose with the ball...
