Rescuers

   To the Editor,
We just wanted to say how grateful we are to the Jefferson County Fire Department boys, headed by Dusty Miller, and Rob who was on call for Pacific Power last Saturday.
The cat, who has really used up his nine lives by now and pretty much declawed himself trying to hang on, had been chased up a pumphouse power pole suspended over an irrigation pond and was dangling by one foot that was caught in the power line at the top of the pole.
These guys were all so great and caring, and we truly appreciate their efforts in rescuing Stallone, especially Rob who just plucked him right down with the "cherry picker" on his Pacific Power truck and Dusty who stayed with us for moral support several hours in the chilling cold.
