Changing Phases children's shop, owned by Ali and Travis Alire, has moved to a new location at 566 S.W. Fourth St., Madras (next to Petals-N-Poseys).
"This was a better location with more parking and it's a little bit bigger," Ali said of the Fourth Street house, which has been converted into a business.
"I also can put items out on the shelf quicker, because I have a washer and dryer on-site here," she added.
The shop, which has been in business for one year, features quality, clean resale clothing, toys, shoes, and children's furniture (swings, strollers, highchairs, carseats) for kids from birth to age 16. It also carries baby accessories, customized gifts and maternity clothing.
Baby furniture is sold on consignment, and customers can trade quality used baby clothing for in-store credits.
A grand opening for their new location is being planned for Jan. 15, 2005, featuring an open house with drawings all day long. Regular specials at the store include 10 percent discounts on Tuesdays, and dollar sales every Friday and Saturday.
Changing Phases is open Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The business phone is 475-2528.
