CR Safari Tax Service, owned by licensed tax consultant Carol Rogers, has relocated from Redmond to Madras.
"We outgrew the former location in Redmond, so we decided to move to a larger office in Madras to be closer to home," said Madras resident Rogers, whose office has the motto: "We trek through a jungle of tax laws to serve you."
CR Safari Tax Service, located at 226 S.W. Fifth St., Madras, offers federal and state income tax preparation, and specializes in free IRS and Oregon electronic filing.
Rogers can also provide business start-up assistance, advice on how to save on your taxes and take advantage of deductions and credits.
A resident of Madras since 1972, Rogers received her Oregon license in 1993. She worked for Brunner Tax Service and H&R Block in Madras for three years, had a home office in Madras for two years, then managed and purchased a tax practice in Redmond, prior to returning to Madras in May.
"We have a client focus, performing quality service, which meets or exceeds client expectations," Rogers said of her business, which emphasizes timely service, at reasonable rates.
Rogers is a member of the Oregon Society of Tax Consultants, and has served as unit president, vice president and received an award for outstanding service in 1998. She also belongs to the National Association of Tax Practitioners.
CR Safari Tax Service is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Call 475-3523 for a free consultation.
