Storyteller Leebrick to visit library

For Dr. Seuss' birthday

Come celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with national award-winning storyteller Christopher Leebrick at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, at the Rodriguez Annex of the Jefferson County Library.
The annex is located at 134 S.E. E St., Madras. Leebrick will share fun stories by Dr. Seuss, as well as other delightful tales.
Leebrick has enthralled audiences with his remarkable storytelling abilities since he was 13 years old. Since 1975, he has performed from coast to coast at festivals, theaters, schools, libraries and churches.
Young and old delight in his extensive repertoire of folk tales, original stories, narrative poetry, whoppers and jump tales.
Utilizing a rich flexible voice, a dynamic stage presence, and powerful acting, Leebrick brings the ancient art of storytelling alive for audiences. He also sets the mood for many of his tales with instruments such as the harmonica and the eastern cedar flute.
His recent recording "Good Stories From All Over" has been honored with a prestigious Storytelling World award. Leebrick is also a professional actor and is the cofounder and former artistic director of the Lord Leebrick Theatre Company in Eugene.
