SAFACT needs your help

Plasma TV raffle hopes to raise money for graduation party

With the goal of providing a drug and alcohol free graduation night party for Estacada seniors, local volunteers need your help in raising money.

At every home sporting event this fall, SAFACT (Senior Alcohol-Drug Free All Night Celebration Time) is selling raffle tickets that enter participants in a drawing to win a Samsung 43-inch plasma TV.

Tickets cost $3 or can be purchased in groups of two for $5.

All of the money raised goes toward the graduation night party, which typically involves taking the students to a surprise location with plenty of activities, food and games.

Throughout the year SAFACT has numerous fundraisers including a pancake breakfast at Applebees in March, a 5K race and a silent auction.
