Vineyard ceremony unites Folin-Herringshaw
Samuel Herringshaw and Emily Folin were united in marriage on June 17, in Gold Hill, Ore.
Daniel and Carolyn Herringshaw and Scott and Lorraine Folin are pleased to announce the marriage of their children, Samuel and Emily, on June l7, 2006, in Gold Hill.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Carolyn Herringshaw of Culver and the bride is the daughter of Scott and Lorraine Folin of Gold Hill.
They were married at the bride's family home in Sam's Valley, near Gold Hill, overlooking Folin Vineyards. The couple honeymooned in the Cook Islands, and are making their home in Prineville.
An open house reception will be held to honor Samuel and Emily on Sunday, July 9, between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Metolius Friends Church in Metolius. Friends and family are invited to attend.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Culver High School and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness management, as well as a master's degree in education. He currently teaches agriculture at Crook County High School.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Crater High School and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness management. She is currently the 4-H program assistant at the Crook County Extension Service.
