Mandy Hume and Wayne Fessler of Madras were united in marriage Dec. 10, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in a ceremony officiated by Father Rob Irwin.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Nancy Hume of Madras, and the groom is the son of LeRoy and Janice Fessler of Madras.
The entire church was decorated in red and silver, including red and silver pew bows, red and white poinsettias around the altar, and a Christmas tree with white lights and red and silver bows.
The bride wore an A-line chiffon wedding gown with long sleeves, a fitted bodice, scoop neckline and empire waist, edged with Venise lace and with a chapel-length trail. She carried a bridal bouquet of white calla lilies.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with satin silver vest, matching tie and a calla lily boutonniere.
Matron of Honor Gia Shelby wore a scarlet chiffon A-line, floor-length gown with spaghetti straps, which was accented with beading along the neckline and straps. She wore a scarlet chiffon wrap around her shoulders. She carried a pomander with red and white gerbera daisies and white stephanotis, suspended with ivory ribbon.
The bridesmaids, Suzette Mandich, Stephanie Ross, and Jenifer Hume, sister-in-law of the bride, wore outfits and carried flowers to match the matron of honor's.
The best man was Joel Smallwood; the groomsmen were Rod Fessler and Glenn Fessler, both brothers of the groom, and Alan Hume, brother of the bride; and the ushers were Matthew Bruck, and Tyler Bruck, nephews of the groom. All the male attendants wore black tuxedos with satin scarlet vests, matching ties and red gerbera daisy and white stephanotis boutonnieres.
The flower girl was MacKenzie Posey, the couple's daughter, who wore a short-sleeved, floor-length dress with ivory satin bodice, red satin sash, and red and white organza full skirt. The ring bearer was Jebb Fessler, nephew of the groom.
Music was provided by Betty Jean Cordill on the piano, and Mary Kay Irwin on the flute. Brent Fessler, nephew of the groom, and Brianna Fessler, niece of the groom, were the altar servers. Heidi Hume, cousin of the bride, and Joan Bruck, sister of the groom, had charge of the wedding programs.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Gold Ballroom at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort.
Toni Lewis had charge of the guest signature mat and frame and the gift table.
The couple left for a honeymoon in Hawaii, spending three days in Waikiki and seven days in Maui. They have returned to make their home in Madras.
The groom is a graduate of Madras High School, and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business management.
The bride is a graduate of MHS, and graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor of science degree in psychology.
The couple own and operate WM Fessler Farms in Madras.
